Connemara Light: a new course and a
new adventure in photography

Connemara Light is a new course run by Sean Mannion who has been involved in photography for three decades. A book of his photographs "Ireland’s Friendly Dolphin” featuring the life of a lone wild dolphin, was published in 1992. His work has also appeared in publications as diverse as Hello Magazine and Greenpeace’s "100 Best Pictures of the Sea”. From Dublin originally he was always captivated by Connemara, its unique culture and its beauty. In 1996 he moved there, working for a local newspaper as a photographer/graphic artist. In 2010 he decided to turn his hobby into a career.

Connemara Light's studios are in Spiddal overlooking Galway Bay, 10 miles from Galway city. You will be briefed there about your trip and have a chance to look at our permanent gallery of Connemara landscapes before setting out.
